Raffles Country Club

Raffles Country Club, established in 1988, was a prestigious golfing destination in Singapore featuring two 18-hole championship courses: the Palm Course and the Lake Course. Spanning 143 hectares in western Singapore, the club was renowned for its impeccable course conditions and lush tropical landscapes.

In 2015, Raffles Country Club faced significant challenges maintaining its world-class golf courses while adhering to Singapore’s stringent water conservation policies. The club partnered with Cisgenics to address these challenges by implementing a state-of-the-art irrigation control system.

Implementing Cisgenics’ irrigation control solution at Raffles Country Club demonstrated how advanced technology could address the complex challenges of golf course management in a tropical, urban environment. The project aligned perfectly with Singapore’s vision of a sustainable, water-efficient future by significantly reducing water consumption while improving course conditions.

Although Raffles Country Club closed in 2018 due to land acquisition for national development, the success of this project set a new standard for golf course irrigation in Southeast Asia. The data and insights gained continue to inform best practices in sustainable golf course management across the region.
