Using a field-proven proprietary equation, Rain Bird’s central control systems use weather sensor input to calculate evapotranspiration (ET) rates.
The system automatically downloads daily weather data and calculates ET to determine irrigation times for the entire system or specific areas. It includes an ET override feature, allowing users to set specific programs to ignore ET values when determining run times.
The Rain Bucket feature allows rainfall from one day to carry over to subsequent days for more accurate ET calculations. The system can connect up to five weather stations for precise ET values based on different weather conditions around the golf course. Users can set a maximum rainfall limit for areas prone to high run-off.
WS-PRO2 Weather Station, using Rain Bird® Messenger,™ can notify you wherever you are, at the central control or via paging, text messaging or e-mail when alarm conditions exist.
Additionally, the system generates detailed weather data reports and offers support in ten different languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and Chinese.
