The Challenge
The Founders’ Memorial at Bay East Garden commemorates Singapore’s founding leaders and early nation-builders. This integrated gallery and garden experience aims to inspire future generations while honouring Singapore’s path to independence. The project faced the challenge of creating a sustainable, low-maintenance landscape that could withstand Singapore’s tropical climate while minimising water usage and costs. 

Solution
Founders’ Memorial is partnering with and implementing the CisgenX Irrigation Control System to meet its sustainability goals. Cisgenics was awarded the contract to install its system, which features IoT-powered water management, real-time environmental monitoring, automated adjustments based on weather and plant needs, and remote control capabilities. 

Impact
The Founders’ Memorial project, using the CisgenX system, will serve as a model for sustainable urban landscaping in tropical climates.
