Orchid Country Club

Orchid Country Club, located in the northern region of Singapore, is a prestigious 27-hole golf facility featuring three 9-hole courses: Aranda, Vanda, and Dendrobium. Established in 1993, the club is renowned for its lush, orchid-themed landscaping and challenging layout. However, maintaining its tropical paradise aesthetic while adhering to Singapore’s strict water conservation policies presented significant challenges.

Orchid Country Club approached Cisgenics with several critical issues, including high water consumption due to Singapore’s hot and humid climate, inconsistent course conditions across the three 9-hole courses, and the need to maintain the club’s signature orchid landscapes while optimising water use to meet Singapore’s stringent water conservation regulations.

Cisgenics developed a tailored irrigation control system for Orchid Country Club, addressing its unique tropical environment and landscaping requirements. This system significantly reduced water consumption and improved course conditions and ornamental displays, meeting the club’s high standards and aligning perfectly with Singapore’s vision of a sustainable, water-efficient future.
